Hey my fellow nurses! I am finally an RN. So happy. I graduated in June 2015. I took the test in Sept for the first time and failed around 170 questions. Took it again right before Christmas and failed at 265. 3rd time came around the end of April and when my computer shut off at 75, I thought finally! I am done. Wrong! I checked my BON verification page and my application was closed meaning I failed. At this point I was so discouraged I almost gave up all together. I talked to a good friend of mine who has been an RN for a few years now. She said to sign up for this nclex review that was offered by this other RN who was a former instructor of hers. She said she was a great asset to her passing. I signed up for the review and am so glad I did. I learned tricks and ways to answer the questions. I took the review a few times before I tested. I signed up to test October 6th. After a lot of praying and prep I am happy to announce that I found out I passed yesterday. I got around 100 questions with 20 sata, 1 EKG, 1 exhibit, 2 drag and drops, and a few pictures, no math, and mostly teaching and priority. So ready to start my career!!
