FINALLY I Passed my NCLEX-RN

Published

I am so excited and happy when I found out that I passed my NCLEX-RN. I did a few attempt before I finally pass the beast. I didn't lose hope because I hold on to the bible verse Jeremiah 29:11. And what I did different this time is I used Mark Klimek, and UWORLD. Mark Klimek helped me when it comes to answering priority questions. My advice is know the basics, know what every novice nurse should know because boards don't expect you to know the complicated topics. I think thats what I did wrong before I keep on reviewing these complicated topic and I didn't pay attention with the fundamentals of nursing which is the important in NCLEX. Trust me based on my experience it is very important to know the basics and I swear you need Mark Klimek he will helped you a lot.

Lastly, I prayed to the Lord to give me only the topics that I know trust me that would help a lot. Pray Pray Pray God is always listening. To God be the Glory!

I am with you - MK is the man!!! I passed the NCLEX too this passed weekend and let me tell you if you pay attention to him you will pass your test. If you know the basic there is no reason for failing the NCLEX-RN. I too didn't give up after failing the first time two months ago. I changed from UWORLD to Kaplan and it that worked out pretty well for me. Kaplan is magical - it really prepares you to answer all types of question.

Good luck to all future testers. Believe in yourself and study hard!

Praise be to God for your success...congratulations..please do you still have mark klimek video...i failed again for the third time.i have used every resource out there and am out of money for another one..can i have your mark videos..thanks...email. [email protected]

Thanks

Congratulations, forget the nay-sayers and putting down your religion. If that's what helped you, then that's what helped you!

Congrats!!! :woot::woot::woot:

Why would anyone think I was putting down her religion? Do you think that with all that is wrong in the world that God has time to worry about NCLEX takers? Shouldn't God be worrying about all the strife and famine in the world, comforting those with grief, and deciding who gets into heaven? Do all of you really think he took the time to have her pass NCLEX?

Furthermore, why do people give some invisible being credit for their hard work?

A person does not have to be religious to be a nurse, despite what some of you have implied. Like I'm any less of a nurse if I don't believe. I won't discuss my beliefs in here as it is complicated, and I don't discuss it with patients. If my patients or families need spiritual guidance, I call our unit chaplain. That is the correct thing to do. Not spout off my religious beliefs.

I much prefer to believe if God is present anywhere in the hospital, it's comforting the families of those lost and little kids with terrible diseases. Not at a testing center.

Yikes, what do you say to your patients when they bring religion into their care?

I call our unit chaplain. It's what you should do. It's not professional to bring your own beliefs in.

This conversation is not even worth getting into, but I never said I bring my own beliefs into my patients care. I said what do you say to them when they bring religion into THEIR care. No one is "spouting" off religions beliefs. Usually you use therapeutic communication with a patient, it doesn't mean you agree with them. Bit of advice, if you don't agree with what someone says on allnurses.com, just move on, there's plenty of other threads where you can tell them what God should be focusing on.

To the OP keep having Faith in God and all he has done for you. For those of us that believe in God he absolutely can and did help you to pass NCLEX. If any of you don't believe in God that's your right but, don't attack discredit or put down someone who has faith in God. Studying is where our knowledge base comes from but, for those of us who believe in him the Lord is where our help comes from.

Congratulations! For passing..

Respect the one who passed on his or her religion belief..

To all saying God has nothing to do in passing nclex!!!

Your faith in God is the main reason why you are striving hard to pass nclex. And the Almighty God also gives suffering..for what? TO STRENGTHEN your faith..

Just to make this short Your life is miserable and i pity you if you did not say a little prayer in your life. You only live once dumb*ss.. and die without love to God... you will not do good in your nursing career without HIM...

If you drop your beliefs, you drop your success. God's mighty people begin to fall even as achievers when they begin to drop the beliefs they pursue at first...

Since you don't agree with "lovingLife", practice your own advice and move on.

Not so easy, is it.

And BTW, OP was "spouting off" her religious beliefs way more than anyone needs to hear. ENOUGH to say " My religious beliefs helped me pass."
