Filipino RN's about to take CRNE exam

Published

Good day, I am very interested to know if there is someone from the Philippines who took the CRNE exam? can you please give any feedback? advice regarding what materials or workshops attended in canada? I am currently awaiting my visa and CRNE eligibility and any info's would be much appreciated. I was hired by Sunrise Health Region from Saskatchewan, I hope to sit on the CRNE next year feb. or june 2009.

I know it only takes 3 tries and its game over:confused:

that's why as early as now Im asking around with regard to this.

thanx in advance!!:tinkbll:

thank you again. i am done with my initial registration...and I already received the CRNE application form and the grad nurse license form...and what's bothering me right now, is how do I pay these fees.

Didn't chinky give you a link to the form for SRNA's credit card payments? And the package that janfrn linked you to has the same form in it. You're applying for initial registration. Is that what has you confused? You can't be registered anywhere without an initial registration. Your grad nurse registration is your initial regsitration in Saskatchewan. So you use the form that chinky pointed you to and that's all.

Hi can someone please help me.....I am planning to apply for the CRNE in British Columbia and would like to know if CRNBC would find me eligible. I answered the short assessment test on their website and a problematic area is my education: I finished a 2nd courser BSN which was 2 years in length, and my undergrad degree was a 5 year liberal arts degree with core courses like natural sciences and advanced math. I already applied in Ontario and after assessment, they found my BSN to be inequivalent to a Canadian BSN. How about in BC? Would you know of anyone with a 2nd courser degree who was found eligible? Thanks so much.

CRNBC will make their own assessment based on your transcripts. the only way really to find out is by going through the process

My gut feeling is that if Ontario didn't think your education was equivalent, then BC won't either. But as silverdragon102 says, the only way to know for sure is to submit your application and have the assessment done.

yes...i have seen the form chinky suggested..."I am done paying with that $210"... and now I am in the next step...which is paying for the exam and the grad nurse license...but they did not attach a credit card form for these fees. I don't think I can use the same form for that $210 fee, since it is clearly stated in that form for "Initial Registration"...like I said, I am done paying with the $210...thank you

Thanks, Silverdragon. You do have a point there.

Do you have Form 51? You can use it to pay for the Examination Fee. And you can pay it via credit card.

I am not familiar with that Form 51. Where can I get that?

In my case, it came with the papers for CRNE registration & application for Temporary registration.

finally...

i called SRNA to just ask them myself... the receiver said, i can just leave her my credit card details over the phone.

for other SRNA applicants, maybe this will help you once you reach the stage of paying for the CRNE and grad nurse license...

lucy in the sky, can you PM me?i think we have the same problem.
