Hello i would like to invite those who passed the NCLEX but without Review Centers. Please share your experiences, strategies and methods of study to inspire and motivate those future nurses like me who will take the NCLEX by self review. Please take time to answer the following questions:
1. What are the materials that you used?
2. How many hours per day did you study? how many questions did u answer per day?
3. How many days or months in total you studied before taking the exam?
4. What are the specific strategies that you used or the the test taking skills you applied during the exam?
5. Take one or take two?
Thank you.. This will be a great help for us...
:redpinkhehi! I m planning to take my exam by next year..Jan. or Feb. 09
I am also curious about the book that( mclovin "Congrats") proposed us to read. Is La charity the author of the book or was that a title? Please help..
because im desperate what review materials I am to choose in reviewing hardly because I am here in province.
Many thanks! Godbless!
I think 'twas titled "Prioritization/Delegation" under Mosby publications. The book consists of five authors (i think) and La Charity was one of 'em. Funny thing here is that book was just given to me! I never had any idea about the existence of that book! Who wrote it, what does it offer, how good the book is - nothing! :chuckle It somehow just "dropped from the sky", in a manner of speaking.. And it was an absolute blessing!
You guys can email me for more reviewers/nclex info. I'll help you in anyway I can.
GOD BLESS!

3. How many days or months in total you studied before taking the exam?

PASSED on first attempt
i am just reading the thread i got off track this past while well i am currently reviewing and planning to take my nclex next year but im getting out of focused, i just want you to know if you guys took your nclex in PI?oh i feel so bummed out...help!i dont really how to start...
well the thing that you must be focusing is on the weak areas that you need to study more. the things that inspire me or motivate me more is thinking about my family and for my future. it will come to a point that you will feel exhausted but dont let it happen as it will have a drastic effect on your performance on the exam. take it slowly and more surely. i took my exam here at PI and passed it on first attemp. Goodluck on your review and exam. :loveya:
