Hi, im a newbie here, and ive been reading alot of information on how to apply for licensure in us. Texas is my preferred state to register. It says in their website that one of the requirements is CES Full education course by course report. When i log in to cgfns website, there is only 2 options, one is CES Professional report and the other is CES Academic report. Which one should i apply? Bdw, im an rn from phils. I Have other questions with the finherprinting but i need to get through first with cgfns. i've also read that to complete CES, I have to mail my high school diploma to cgfns. Thank you.

Last time I did a CES for CNFNS they waived the requirement for a High School Diploma....
Texas I like using ERES instead of CGNFS, due to customer service.
Texas was/is requiring a Social Security Number before they issue a licenses, How do you plan on getting a Social Security Number?
If you can't obtain one, I would look at other states that don't require a Social Security Number or one that will take ITIN number instead........

once you pass your application to texas, you can email them and ask for a temporary SSN which you will use in the fingerprinting.
Don't give up, great things take time.â€

Maybe i should contact cgfns if they need hs diploma or not anymore. Thank you so much for all ur replies
I thought texas dont require ssn for international candidates to register. Thats what i understand from their requirements. do you mean, you can register to bon, but they wont issue a license unless u hve a ssn?
Omg caren! So complete information! That's exactly what every nurse wants to know on how to start their alplication.. bdw, can i start with the criminal background check even if i havent submitted my application to texas bon and my cgfns is not yet complete? I tried to follow the fast pass form which i downloaded, but when i entered my license and ask if i am a student or not, i clicked no, and the next message says that my licnse number is not found in their data. Hence, im not able to proceed and finish
Another question. Say that i passed all the requirements, but no ssn yet. Can i work in texas as a nurse and provide it asap when i have it?
How can i obtain the fingerprint card from bon if the drop down menu in the state address are all in US?
