Filipino nurse registration in Texas

Hi, im a newbie here, and ive been reading alot of information on how to apply for licensure in us. Texas is my preferred state to register. It says in their website that one of the requirements is CES Full education course by course report. When i log in to cgfns website, there is only 2 options, one is CES Professional report and the other is CES Academic report. Which one should i apply? Bdw, im an rn from phils. I Have other questions with the finherprinting but i need to get through first with cgfns. i've also read that to complete CES, I have to mail my high school diploma to cgfns. Thank you.

Thank you so much for bothrring to contact texas bon. I will also wait for your next reply before i will start my application to cgfns. I just want to make sure everything is clear to me before i start.

I sent a email to BON on last week, as of this morning no response. I will send one more and I will also send same to the Attorney General of Texas, My local Senator and I will find out who the Texas BON is regulated by and send same email to them.

I will see if I can get this Texas BON to change it's policy, In my opinion a RN licenses should not be issued unless someone can provide a SSN..

May i ask which part are you now with your application? I am also considering to register in Texas.

i havent started my application yet because im still waiting for my bonus this december haha, so i can pay cgfns.

They do not require SSN to issue a license.

Hello Carendawn, your post helped me so much in my application thank you.but i am just a little bit confused here regarding the VOL whoch i need to send to CGFNS.....then the VOL to be submitted to BON texas...in the CES guidelines which says ...note*the CES full educ course by course report will contain your original country of licensure's VOL...from this statement do i still need to send VOL from PRC to BON?thanks so much...
