What do you include in your field trip bags? Right now, I only have bare-bones supplies that comply with our staff first aid policy (i.e. what a general staff person is allowed to do) - a couple pairs of gloves, alcohol swabs and single-use saniwipes (not sure why, but WTH), some sterile gauze, and bandaids plus student-specific epi-pens... would you/do you include anything else?

I'd add instant ice packs. No more than 2 though. At the elementary level if more than that are available EVERYONE on the trip will have one by the end. So fancy.

Typical stuff, bandaids, gauze, handwipes, instant ice packs, and I just send them with their medications that some students need and are scheduled for.

Whenever I send a students epi or inhaler I send out an index card with instructions on how to use it JUST in case everyone looses their minds during an emergency

I do the same - I have a copy of the student's Action plan attached to the Epipen or inhaler.
