FGCU CRNA 2019

Published

Hi! I know I am early but anyone looking to apply for FGCU starting Jan 2019? Apps are due May 15, 2018! Anyone know the stats of people who have gotten in and interview tips? Thanks in advance! :)

I see. Congrats man. You gotta follow the dream. What is your impression of the agenda? Just curious if I'm missing something vital.

Simply my impression that the program is about the program and not so much about the student. My interview was perfunctory, shallow and rushed, with very few questions of any substance and zero time for in-depth answers. I never realized what a sjw campus FGCU is until I went with my daughter for her orientation. That's the agenda I'm talking about. Not a fan. I have zero doubt that their program is amazing and above bar. I am sure that those chosen were the best "fit" that they spoke of. Main point is you go where you get in and don't count anyplace out.

Good for you! I'm two weeks into the program at Keiser. It was my first choice, as well, but I applied to FGCU when they stopped taking people during the transition. Pleased with the program so far. Very student oriented.

Keiser is clear of probation at this point right? Or are they still working on it. It's nice to read it's going well for you so far. I'll be applying there sometime in the future.

They get final clearance in January. Due to their status with Keiser and federal financial aid, it seems it's a given at this point.

Specializes in ICU.

I'm curious if everyone was waitlisted

I was as well.

Seems that way.

What were the COA's original issues and were they fixed?

Specializes in Cardiac ICU.

Would anyone mind sharing their stats from Keiser/Wolford and FGCU?

Wolford, now Keiser, never was on probation. They were simply given extensions to get the new COA requirements to be regionally accredited. Now that they are under Keiser it should be fine. If you look on the COA website they are still accredited and the next review is in January 2019. Nothing about the actual program was the problem, it's just a process to become a regionally accredited school, and they are considered an applicant to be regionally accreddited by the SACCOC.

I am in my first semester at Keiser. My stats were 3 years in MICU, 3.5 GPA, 298 GRE

I am very pleased with the program so far

did you start the program in august? I work with and shadow a few Wolford graduates and I was wondering how it is going there? A friend and I are considering starting in January if we both get accepted? I tried to PM you but this site wont let me yet.

Hey ICU/EMTP....how is keiser going for you? would you be willing to PM me and tell me a little bit about your experience so far and how the program is structured?
