FGCU CRNA 2019

Published

Hi! I know I am early but anyone looking to apply for FGCU starting Jan 2019? Apps are due May 15, 2018! Anyone know the stats of people who have gotten in and interview tips? Thanks in advance! :)

Specializes in ICU.
As did I. I know some did not and were given provisional admission. I don't understand that at all.

You don't understand how some were admitted and some were waitlisted?

How people without all the requirements were admitted.

How do you know that?

I feel sorry for next years applicants that will review this discussion lol

Read back in this thread, for one. It happens each time. I do know two people that were alternates and ended up admitted in previous years, so...

Both in one year? I am wondering how many will be on this alternate list. It doesn't seem like anyone was declined.

Two different years. These were just ones I knew. Not sure how many total. One was with about two weeks notice, I believe.

Fingers, toes, legs and arms still crossed then. I am taking basic undergrad chem right now in order to boost my stats and if they ask for proof before school starts I will have it. Basically Kaiser's is more expensive but CRNA school = CRNA.

I wonder what the provisons that they required were? Applicants are applicants after all.

Hey all,

I interviewed and was waitlisted with conditions a couple years ago. I had to retake an undergrad science course because it had been so long since I was in school. I'm glad that I wasn't accepted though because I ended up getting into Wolford (now Keiser?) which was my first choice. I'm with the LDS church and there were a lot of people I knew in the Wolford program. Just wanted to let everyone know that they will both accept people conditionally and waitlist people conditionally. God bless.

Good for you! I'm two weeks into the program at Keiser. It was my first choice, as well, but I applied to FGCU when they stopped taking people during the transition. Pleased with the program so far. Very student oriented.

Your first choice was a program that was/is on probation with an accrediting council?

It wasn't at the time I started the process. I knew FGCU only had one small class a year, and I don't really care for the agenda there, either. Doesn't matter now. I'm in and on my way.
