FCCJ SPRING 2010

Published

I know it is a little early, but anyone plan on applying for FCCJ's spring 2010 program?? If I can get my Nat points up and if I do well in Micro this summer , I will be ready to apply!!!:yeah:Finally!!

metric. no apothecary.

Thanks, I also heard you will be doing dosage calcs this semester but not IV drip factors? Is that true? Are drip factors for semester 2 or the first semester? In chapter 4 of the Pharm book at the end they are doing drip factors.

drip factors aren't until term 2

I don't know about you guys, but I did well on those tests! I spoke with Miss Em. So far I love my teachers, and I am really starting to get to know the girls and guy in my sections. Everyone seems great now, and I am starting to feel more comfortable after being to all my classes. Still super overwhelmed trying to figure out how I am going to work full time and do this , but you moms out there are my inspiration. If you can do this having kids around, I can do this working!

Those tests were SUPER easy! I was so shocked when I saw them lol and for future people who are looking at this board there are NO word problems on Dosage Calculation Test #1! I love all of my classes and I have met a couple new friends! Shout out to Moecato lol you are AWESOME!!!! I have one more class to go to and thats Pharm, and I go to it tomorrow morning! Classes seem doable as long as you are organized and have great time management skills, which I do! Can't wait to get this semester over and behind us, in the mean time trying to lose weight and the dummies are helping me out lol they are sooooo Heavy!!!

So how many pages of assigned reading would you guys say you have each week with all classes combined? Thanks.

How many weeks before the first day of class did you guys have orientation?

My family is planning a vacation at mid-March till early April and was wondering If I wanted to go. Im applying for Summer term and the deadline is Feb 1 which means the acceptance letters should be arriving at mid-march, right?

What things do you have to do inbetween getting you acceptance letter and orientation? And how long do you have?

Orientation is usually the first day book vouchers can be used. Ours was on December 14th, and the Fall semester was August 17th. So when ever they post that date that is usually when the orientation is. You have A LOT of stuff do before orientation which includes, titers, fingerprints, vaccinations, background check etc and we had about 3 weeks to complete everything (health wise).

Do polo shirts have to be tucked into your khakis? Maybe a dumb question, but it will make a difference in the pants I choose. :)

No. There are lots of students that don't tuck it in.

Great, thanks!

Can someone post what their schedule is like? Like what days/hours you are in class? I'm trying to plan for next term what I will do for daycare. Thanks!
