Hey everyone I was able to register for classes!!!:yeah:

I went on amazon.... and didnt see that great of deals? maybe you took them all, tmooney! lol ;)

I individually priced out all the books in the box on amazon, and it came out to $ 404... butthen i'd have to buy the online access codes as well, so that ended up bringing it to $512.... and I'm still not sure if I'd rather just pay the $617 to get brand new books all in one shot... or if its worth the $100 bucks to do them individually....

i do think im gonna order the books thats DONT come in the box on amazon though.

so much stuff to do still! does anyone bring their kids to the on-campus daycare?

I just registered for ym classes, my last name begins with a B though... so maybe i'm at the top of the list and thats why? I say you try after lunch, future.

Hey Moecato,

I was able to register for classes! I don't have my daughter going to the daycare on campus, but I have heard wonderful things about the Chappell's Schools in general!

Has anyone bought the dosage calculations book yet? I am looking at getting it from amazon and they have hardback and paperback. Do you think it matters? Also did your book come with a CD or anything extra or was it just the book?

hey janobia! Its lindsay! So unlucky me by the time my 117 number was called there were only two sections left, 7 and 8, so i def didnt get what i wanted and i have the clinical that says "baptist pending." Oh well, it was nice meeting you!

Lindsay!!! OMG that totally sucks! Those are the two sections that had Friday Clinicals and it had the teacher you absolutely didn't want, with all the icecream talk! I wish you were able to get in the section with me! You should of picked from the middle!!! Oh well at least we're in! It was so nice meeting you and laughing at random things lol!

I don't think it matters if its a hardback or paperback, they sold the paperback at the bookstore. The book from the bookstore didn't come with anything extra or a cd!:D

i know! i really didnt want her but oh well ill move through it! i should have picked from the middle but i just had to be daring and pick from the side i guess lol.

hi i'm andrei =)

ive been reading through this thread for a long time lol

but i never posted anything =)

anyways... i'm already registered in section 10=)

got lucky and picked 7

and i bought my books at half.com

some of the sellers sell new books that are cheaper than those in the bookstore...

my total price with the books that are not in the box went to 650+ that's with shipping and handling

the only thing i didnt buy in half.com are the two online access code...i bought those in shcool

i bought everything i needed for like 750+

i hope this helps =)

it was nice seeing all of you

and hopefully i see more of you when class starts

Hello everyone... I am so glad yesterday is over. I picked number 60, so I got section 10, looks like I will be with you dreiinvincible :)

Moecato,

My son goes to Chappell Schools and it is absolutely wonderful. He only went for a few hours last semester but he will be attending full time starting in January. He goes to the one at Kent campus because they do not have any openings at North campus. He is three and loves going. The staff is so nice and are always doing fun things with the kids. The director of that campus is awesome. I was able to get a child care grant as well so it paid for 80% of his tuition!

Thanks, My daughter went to the southside daycare last year, but i switched her to north campus and was able to get her in. I applied a couple weeks ago for the child care grant (the 80% one) but i still havent received anything about it? I'm hoping it comes in soon... bc childcare can get expensive!

Have you ladies tried applying for the Jacksonville Children's Commission voucher? That's what I have and as long as I am in school fulltime I only pay $10 a week for childcare, there is a waiting list to get the voucher you may want to apply for it it takes about 4 months to get off the waiting list and you can use it at any daycare facility you want, just wanted to let you guys know! :)
