When will we find out what room we are in for the testing? Maybe at the degree audit?

well, i waited to the last minute again (because of financial reasons) and i am going to go by a stethescope. did anyone get the littmann classic ii se stethoscope or did most of you buy the littmann cardiology iii stethoscope? the website i'm on says the classic ii is used mainly by nurses and medicals students and the cardiology iii is used more for cardiologists, child specialists, general practitioners, and respiratory specialists. just wondering what your two cents are and what most of you got. thanks again for the info everyone!

I just want to make sure I am studying everything needed for the tests. For medical terminology we need to study chapters 1-3 with emphasis of 2&3. This includes reading our book 1-3, flash cards for 2&3, and exercises for online too right? For dosage calculations, the test covers topics 1&2. Do we need to study anything in our books or is it just topics 1&2 of the independent study?

Tmooney your not the only slacker! I haven't gotten my skills kit yet. I'm broke, everything we had to get just left me dry! I still need my polo and khakis too! Do we need our skills kits for anything before clinicals start? I'm hoping to have the money soon!

Thanks for the info stawall0102! They told me the wrong info in July they said to wait until mid December but I will take your advice and ask way in advance for next semester.

We had our nursing orientation on December 14th. We went over a handbook and other paperwork as well. We also did a lottery for our classes and we registered on the 16th. At orientation they went over information about our tests that we are going to have January 11th. We also received e-mails to help us. Actually, I don't think we were given enough time. By the time we registered I missed the priority deadline for the child care grant and the North campus child care center is full so I may end of paying out of pocket for the semester and I have to bring them to Kent. Did anyone else have this problem with the grant? Did anyone fill out for it earlier? If so, how did you do that without knowing your schedule because they told me back in July not to apply for the grant until mid December after I registered for my classes. Also to those with children going to the North campus child care center, how far in advance did you register your kids for the semester? I want to make sure next semester they get a spot. Thanks!

Hello everyone! Does anyone have an idea of when we might find out what our class schedules will be? I am having trouble registering my girls in the daycare because our classes are hybrid and I'm not sure which weeks we will be in class. They don't want me to pay extra money when my girls might not be attending on the scheduled days. Thanks for any info!

Does anyone know when we might find out what hospital we will be going to if we are sections 7 and 8 and have Baptist pending?

Has anyone bought the dosage calculations book yet? I am looking at getting it from amazon and they have hardback and paperback. Do you think it matters? Also did your book come with a CD or anything extra or was it just the book?

Hey everyone, it was nice seeing everyone. I didn't end up with the section I wanted so if anyone has second thoughts about the section they picked let me know!!! I would be more then willing to trade with basically ANY section. I got section 8 so anyone with anything other then section 7 or 8 that needs to switch please let me know! Thanks! How did everyone do? Looking forward to seeing my classmates on the first day!!!
