FCCJ Spring 2009

hey everyone... i'm also one of many that applied to fccj spring 2009 program... i'm hoping for the nights and weekends program just because i've never taken a class at north campus, and it's soooo far out of my way but i'll be happy just to get in. with my nat scores i have a total of 220.88 points as long as they count my a in statistics instead of my b in algebra; otherwise i'll have 216.88. hope some of you are my classmates come january.

I turned in my application last week and now I'm just sweating it out! In one of the previous semester posting they found out about 21 days after the cut off date. Oh jeez I just wanna know if I got in!

I just turned in as well. I doubt I'll get in because they're now not taking my humanities course which makes me much lower in the points standing. I wish they would have been clear on that earlier. I'm still crossing my fingers though.

My friend is applying with 183.8...If she does not get in for Spring I know she will get in for summer because she does not have her micro class in there and she can retake her NAT and do better on a section she forgot to go back to...I wish you guys all the best!

Thanks misswhitney. I'm thinking I'll definately get in for summer as well if I don't make it for spring. I'm also in MCB right now and I have 2 other classes that will count as well. Does anyone know if there will be nights/weekends for the summer session?

welp, it's been about a week since the cutoff date to turn in our applications for spring 09... hopefully we won't have to wait too long! i'm suprised that there aren't more people on here that applied for the spring semester. i was reading some other threads from the previous semesters and there were tons of people on the message boards. maybe lots of people didn't apply and we're all in... wishful thinking, right? well, again, good luck to everyone! may acceptance letters be w/ you (and me :wink2:) in the near future. :up:

I know! I noticed that the cut off for the fall term was 186. I am at 180 so I may have to just wait to retake the NAT. Either way will be fine since my husband is going through paramedic school right now. We have a 3 and 5 year old so he would be happy if I waited until he graduated. He will be finished in March. I am a little anxious to see what happens. :)

well if you guys get accepted get ready for complete unorganized chaos!, and really really really take into consideration picking gooooood teachers, because there are a few classes that are suffering that consequence as we speak! good luck! :no:

Hi! I'm new to the site. I applied for the Spring term R.N. program and I'm waiting for my acceptance packet. :bugeyes: I read that the packets for last spring term arrived on October 19th. I hope that means we will be hearing something real soon.

man.. i'm getting so antsy just waiting. i really do hope that we get our letters in october... i dunno if i can wait! i'm moving into a new apartment at the end of november but i wanna see if i got into the night/wknd program or just days to decide which side of town i'm going to move to. i wonder how much time we have to get all the stuff like physicals and such done before orientation... it will be a little hectic w/ the holidays around but at least it's florida and we don't have to do all this in a bunch of snow or anything... yes, i'm thinking ahead but i'm all about "the secret" and the power of positive thinking, yall ! :specs:
