  1. That's ridiculous. If they want us to wear special uniforms to class, they should provide them free of charge. And then to spring it on us a couple weeks before the term starts is outrageous! I bet those people we bought the polo shirts from don't even have enough for us all to buy more shirts. This has got to be one of the most disorganized, most poorly run nursing programs in the country! They have had so much of my paperwork messed up, it's not even funny. Not to mention the bad attitudes you have to deal with from the people that work in the department. Sorry I just have to vent!:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire:angryfire
  2. Has anyone NOT been registered for their classes? I just got back today from being out of town for a couple days. I logged into Artemis and noticed that I have not been registered for my classes yet. I know they mentioned that we would be registered by 5pm yesterday.
  3. I have a class @ 1:00pm that day, which will make me late for class since it's at the Nassau campus. I talked to my teacher and told her I would probably be at least 30 minutes late. She was very cool about it and is working with me as far as the work I will miss. Have you tried talking to your teacher? It might work out a little better, but I suppose it all depends on what class you have and what work you will miss. Good Luck!
  4. Is anyone else having a tough time finding the shoes? I have been all over searching for some all-white tennis shoes that are name brand and not completely UGLY like the nurses shoes. I've had no luck. Everything I find has a little gray color along with the white and I suppose this is not acceptable. I guess the not-so-attractive nurses shoes with have to do. Can anyone tell me which shoes you bought?
  5. I've spent about $600 so far. I still need to get my shoes & khaki pants.
  6. Yes. My name tags are first name & last initial. I'm glad you mentioned it because I was a little worried too. :)
  7. I think everyone is going to the Northside Medical Clinic. They do the drug screen & the physical/vaccinations. They have discount pricing for FCCJ students.
  8. The drug screening took about 10-15 minutes including the time in the waiting room. I did the medical exam today and it took about 50 minutes including the time in the waiting room, but they were quite busy. I believe a lot of people have gotten in & out much quicker. In my opinion, the wait time still wasn't bad.
  9. Sure thing! I'm more than happy to help. Glad you were able to get to the release form. :)
  10. this is the link i got in my e-mail from them if i needed to go back and print a release form: [color=#003399]https://www.certifiedbackground.com/viewnow.php when i click on this link, it asks for my password & the last four digits of my social. then i click on submit & it takes me to the page with the pdf file for the release form. hopefully this works.
  11. If you go back on the website & enter your password, you should see that pdf file called "Standard CBG Release". Print that out and fax it to the number listed in the nursing packet. You shouldn't have to go to the confirmation page again. Please let me know if this works.
  12. That's funny that no one wants Baptist Nassau Navywifeim. I live in Yulee and want my clinicals to be at Baptist Nassau. It's just a 15 minute drive for me. :)
  13. Hi! On the order confirmation page, you should see a pdf file called "Standard CBG Release". It is right above the ordered items section.
  14. Hot Chocolate, The number to call to accept the position is 766-6584. I hope your packet catches up with you soon. :)
  15. Congrats to you slp84!
