FCCJ Spring 2009

Hey all!

I was just trying to get in touch with anyone hoping to start the RN program at FCCJ in the Spring 2009 semester. Hopefully we can see what the points seem to be at or where they were for the Fall 2008 semester.

Look forward to talking!:nuke:

Hey, I'm going to apply for spring 2009 as well. Unfortunately I just found out that my ENC and Soci classes did not transfer to FCCJ so I am gonna study real hard for the NAT. I hope the points will not be toooo high :s

I've taken the NAT and will be enrolled in Microbiology in the fall and I have to get my CPR card renewed, but then I'll be set :D (the only things I'm waiting on). I think that I have a chance because currently my points are 206. Any one else know what their points may be when they apply?

so im accepted into the nursing program for the fall semester and our cutoff for points was 186, if this helps anyone......just try to relax cause once you get your packet you will be running around like crazy! also do not try to do your physical in advance because you have to have a certain form! if anyone wants the website for the nursing uniforms that they require ill give it to you, but even though i hate to say it i feel that i have to, if your not almost positive your getting in then dont buy them in advance! for the fall there were almost 700 applicants and only like 160 something got in sooooo make wise decisions! hope this helps!

Hi Everyone, I am new to this forum. I am planning to apply to the Spring 2009 RN program at FCCJ. I hope to get into the nights and weekends, but I will settle for the day program. I am applying with 191 points; it seems that every year the cut off points keep getting higher, so I hope that I have enough to get in with.

you will be fine getting in, but let me tell you first semester aint no joke! if i were you id start studying dosage calc, med term, and iv calc and get it finished before orientation, becasue once your 4 classes start and you have those to study for as well, it consumes alllllllll ooooooffff your tiiiiiiiiime! no joke! and testing in the nursing program is like nothing you have ever tested on before, i learned that today actually with our first health assessment test! I studied everything they told us and felt totally prepared, and i dont even know if i passed the stinking test, and im a straight A student 4.0! WHOA! wake up call, hold on to your seat if you get in, cause your in for a ride!

hey everyone... i'm also one of many that applied to fccj spring 2009 program... i'm hoping for the nights and weekends program just because i've never taken a class at north campus, and it's soooo far out of my way but i'll be happy just to get in. with my nat scores i have a total of 220.88 points as long as they count my a in statistics instead of my b in algebra; otherwise i'll have 216.88. hope some of you are my classmates come january.
