FCCJ/FSCJ Fall 2010 Hopefuls

I know it is kind of early to start this thread but I thought maybe there were some others out there who are planning on applying for fccj/fscj fall 2010 RN program. Hope you will post on this thread!

Does anyone know what books you need the 1st semester in the program? Wanted to price them on Chegg.

In the previous semesters, the nursing dept also sent an email to your FCCJ email account with your acceptance and I think the email came before the packet in the mail.

Thanks for the info!! I went into my school email and set it to send me a text when there's a new message. :yeah:

I noticed you said "packet." I was thinking that those who get in would probably receive a large, manilla-type envelope with multiple papers regarding orientation, CPR, physicals, etc., and that rejection letters would probably be regular old envelopes with a single sheet of paper inside.

Anybody know if this is the case?

Just went to the mailbox. Nothing but the electric bill : /

I know the acceptance letters come in a large manilla envelope with all of the instructions on what to do etc. I am not sure about the rejection letters, I assume it would be in a plain envelope but I also think the rejection letters go out later than the acceptance packets because a lot of people will decline their seats and then they give those open spots to next in line point wise.

Reading these posts and seeing how anxious and excited everyone is helps me stay positive when every day seems like an eternity. I have a 229, and I can't even get excited about it because I live in Clay County. The day I see a big envelope from FSCJ in my mailbox, my whole neighborhood will know because I'm going to be laughing so loud and dancing all over my driveway :jester:

I really appreciate all your encouragement over the past year, especially when we found out about the Duval/Nassau thing and I developed such a rotten attitude. I'm really proud of how well you've done. A 216 with all that you've had going on with you and your girls is sooooo AWESOME! YOU ROCK THE BAKER'S SOCKS :lol2:

Well thanks for letting me cheat off you in all of our classes together....ONLY KIDDING!!!! My grades would have been much better ;) I appreciate you as well, you let me vent and have seen my go through the roughest year of my entire life and still encourage ME to stay strong!!!!

i never heard anything about people finding out through emails. but i will look into that! thanks for the info!

i don't think i've ever checked my fscj email before though lol. i've only taken 2 classes at fscj.

fingers crossed for all of us. all of this suspense is killing me. we've all worked so hard and all deserve it!
