I know it is kind of early to start this thread but I thought maybe there were some others out there who are planning on applying for fccj/fscj fall 2010 RN program. Hope you will post on this thread!
I highly doubt that, they always get around 500 applicants, and 8 weeks is the range. Orientation is usually a few weeks before classes start so I really doubt they would wait till that late to send out letters, I am not going to take this seriously until I hear is from Ms. ***** herself.I dropped by the program office last week. There were 585 applicants for the Fall term. The clerk at the desk said letters would go out at the beginning of August.
Yeah, they always say the generic answer. My class had over 500 applicants and only 96 got in. (Summer '08) Our cut off was 183 I want to say and I know people with 178 that got in. People who called got the same "it will be eight weeks" answer and we got our letters three weeks after the deadline.
I applied for nights or days, but I'd prefer nights. If I get in for days, is there a possiblilty that I might be able to swap with someone who got in nights that wants to switch to days? Is this likely? Does anyone know?
It happened at our orientation. I think its a possibility for sure.

beginning of august?! that is even longer than it says on the website (6-8 weeks, so last week of july at the latest)
I am so tired of waiting! lol
I already had to cancel my dorm contract for UNF in case I get into the nursing program at FSCJ. We start school a week or 2 sooner than FSCJ, so if I don't get in there will be very little time to try and get another dorm or find somewhere else to live.
Is anyone else hoping to leave their current school to go to FSCJ?
Does anyone else have a 33%X under their my programs of study/degree audit on connections?
