FCCJ/FSCJ Fall 2010 Hopefuls

Published

I know it is kind of early to start this thread but I thought maybe there were some others out there who are planning on applying for fccj/fscj fall 2010 RN program. Hope you will post on this thread!

i think you will be fine. i believe the cut off for summer was 197 something and it is typically higher for that term because there are less seats. but you never know. i'm still nervous with 222.44.

i said to myself at first if i got about the cut off for summer i wouldnt worry, but then when i am seeing not to many scores lower than mine, i kind of am worring... either way i know for sure i will get in for spring if not fall, since by then i will have micro points and will be able to take the nat again

It's hard not to worry. I always come up with reasons why outcomes will go the complete opposite of what is expected and hope they don't happen. I'm a worrier. I wouldn't focus too much on the fact that most of us have high scores. If all of us posting here got in, there would still be a ton of open seats. :)

Don't worry too much. I have a feeling that there won't be many posts on this thread until we get closer to the letters going out. Hopefully we will hear sooner rather than later. I will keep everyone posted if I get anything. Hopefully everyone else will do the same. :D

I applied for Fall with a 199.8 so hopefully I'll see some of you in the Fall!

I applied with 200.something? Closer to 200 than 201. Hopefully that will work. I applied without Micro, so I am confident of Acceptance for Spring, but I want to go FALL!

MLT, I got your message but I dont have access to send private messages yet, I think I need 15 posts or something?? Anyway, I did not have that professor for A&P I so I'm not the person you were thinking! Maybe we'll meet in Fall!

oh okay. it might have been another class. for some reason i could have sworn i had a s. smitha in one of my online classes. i took so many i can't remember which one! lol yes, hopefully we will see each other in the fall. i am hoping to get nights and weekends, but we will see. :D

Man all of you have such high numbers. I had the great honor to be pregnant TWICE through out my prereqs and well i came out with two C's :( My total I submitted was a 190.24!!!!!!!! What in the world! lol I have two daughters and i need this now more than ever! Please pray that a miracle happens! My sister got in last term with a 193, but my rejection letter said the lowest excepted was a 197. something. That was weird she laughed it off but i am so hopeing this works. So if all of you all mostly are wanting night and weekend classes what happens if you don't get them. Will you accept your seat as a day time student or turn it down?

Acceptance is never a sure thing, so if I don't get N&W, but do get days, I will take it. Each year I have seen the points to get in increase. Last semester the cut off was 197.?? but six people turned down their seats ans the next six in line got in. Someone had posted on getting in with a lower score than the cut off, but it seems that they had miscalculated their score. Anyways, I turned in my application with a total of 207.64 and would like to go N&W but will go days if that is what is offered.

Still awaiting my letter, a friend that graduated from this porgram said she got her letter in 2 weeks after applications were due. As soon as I get mine I will post if I got in or not, hopefully you'll do the same? :)

Of course! :)

I dropped by the program office last week. There were 585 applicants for the Fall term. The clerk at the desk said letters would go out at the beginning of August.
