FCCJ Fall 2008

Published

Hello all! Just thought I'd start a thread for all of those folks that have submitted, or are getting ready to submit, their applications for FCCJ's Fall '08 term.

I will be submitting my application in a few weeks, when this Spring term ends. I have taken my NAT (twice), so I'm good to go there, but still need to get my CPR class done. I called several places & I'm waiting to hear back from them.

I look forward to chatting with & getting to know all of you, who will be doing the count-down with me... on getting our acceptance letters!!!

I know it helps to sound-board off each other & to lean on each other for support... especially with getting all the things done that we have to do!

Best of luck & success to all!!!

Wow, it can be SOOO easy to take/say things in the wrong way, especially when over the internet!

I am very sure the noone would say anything to try to be mean on purpose! Maybe we should just let those things go.

yes i totally agree!! this thread is almost 80 pages long and we have not had any issues so far and i want to keep it that way.:saint: ................

alright, i hope everyone is having a good day. i still have to pick up my polo shirt and skills kit. i have turned in all paperwork, did that on monday and have turned in my appeal for aid. i just hope my appeal goes through on time. the lady said that it could take up to a month!! she said that they do about 30 a day so hopefully that will go through on time.

well orientation is getting closer like 8 days, is anyone excited?:)

These are going to be the longest eight days of my life. I just hope that in eight days at orientation we also get our schedules, I really need to plan my work schedule. I am hoping more of the classes will be hybrid because of the new nursing director. I think that would really help with gas and time.

yes i know what your mean! the other day my job said "we need your schedule as soon as possible" and i am like i need my schedule as soon as possible. i hate not being able to properly plan for this (money, time, and mentally). i need to know what days i will go to work, go to school, what hours i can study, etc.:typing .....still i am happy to be accepted to the program and ready to start :-)

I would think we would have to get our schedules on the first orientation since classes start on the 25th (even though we should only have our 2nd orientation that day). It is insane not knowing how to plan things out. I homeschool my youngest child (6th grade) and it is driving me nuts not knowing how to plan his schedule.

What's the matter? You couldn't tell I was continuing with the joke? :D

People cannot see laughter nor can they hear the sarcasm in your voice when you make certain comments.

Sorry if I made anyone uncomfortable with my honesty. I certainly did not want to offend anyone and I am not about causing trouble.
