FCCJ E/W 4th Term Role Trans....

I'm about to start role transformation soon and am in the 4th term/nights & weekend program.

The NCLEX review is 7:30-4:00 on W,Th,F the last week of ADII.

The 1st week of role I have to work 7p-7a on a Tue night, then 7a-7p that F,Sa,Su.

The 2nd week we have off for Thanksgiving.

3rd week 7a-7p M,Sa,Su and THAT's IT!!!! :) Only 7 clinical days total....not bad at all.

You do not have to do care plans during Role Transformation... We didn't have to turn in report sheets, do post conference, or anything like that. You will most likely have a resume/job search assignment, and then there is a group teaching project and an individual teaching project. You don't have to do both. If you do choose to do both you get an A in the class, if you do just the individual you will get a B.

So how was Adult Health 2? I had a tough time staying focused during AH1 and I am getting very nervous thinking about AH2!!!! Any words of wisdom???

I am in the 3rd term day program, and I just registered for term 4 yesterday using the lottery system. Anyway, my number was 123 out of 124 or 25, and I ended up with Ferrari as an instructor, and White as my clinical instructor at Mayo. I went on rate my professor.com to read about them, but I was wondering if anybody who was or is still in the 4th term with these teachers could give me somemore insight about them.

The Role Transformation schedule is at the whim of the instructor. Just because one does on ABC days does not mean that another instructor won't do it completely the opposite. If I were you, I would tell the boss that you probably won't find out the Role schedule until two weeks before it starts. Sucks I know.

Mrs. ****** is wonderful person, she was not my instructor but I did have interaction with her. Everyone that had her like her.

thanks for your reply. I just wanted to get more opinions on this instructor because on ratemyprofessor.com, the comments that were made weren't really desireable, but if she's tough like others say, then that's okay, I can take the challenge.

I am finishing up PEDS now, got any information you can pass on from Adult Health II? Anything would be greatly appreciated.

I am going into 3rd term right now, but I am concerned about the NCLEX review stated previously. Those are DAYS.....we are supposed to be EVE/WE.

Is this really the case?

We had n/w people with us during ours, so I assume it is only during the day. People missed it, but had to do some remediation, so I am sure if you cannot make it, that you could miss it.
