FBI Raid of the Traitor's Country Club!

Trump, the suspect of multiple federal investigations and investigations in multiple states, twice impeached and removed from office by the American voters in 2020, COMPLETE SORE LOSER (He is the definition of an entitled snowflake because he whines over a loss that he pretends he won), unpatriotic white nationalist TRASH and authoritarian dictator wannabe (he wants to destroy our democracy while political GQP hacks and trash/clown media (I.e. Fox Noise and white nationalist media outlets) mimic his stupidity) Is raided by the FBI

No need. Your opinion that the "pronoun fad" is ridiculous can stand on its own, right? That means that it shouldn't matter one tiny bit which pronouns are used to address anyone... it's all ridiculous.

Oddly, it seems to bother some when you identify as male but are repeatedly and intentionally referred to by other pronouns... almost as if using correct pronouns could be a matter of respectful discourse. Hmm

See: Stone Butch Blues by Leslie Feinberg, if you can find it. It’s out of print and not available as an audiobook. I’ve checked online and the price of a copy is too high for me. Excellent look at the inner life of a transgendered person.

Being the widow of one and grandmother of another transgendered person, I’m apt to get a little testy when the latter day dittoheads on the site decide to come out to play.

As I’ve written before, like walking in a hailstorm without a hat.

I have no issues about pronouns. But some of them are ridiculous.

Especially when someone has a beard and wears lipstick and has a deep voice hairy chest and gets mad when you miss gender them. That is totally ridiculous.

And by design I imagine.

That's intentional because gender affirming pronouns are unimportant to him... he said so.

So it's okay to miss gender someone sometimes depending on who they are? Haha typical.

What is the proper spelling? Missgender miss gender? My spell check is confused. Probably because it isn't an actual word. Or my phone itself is transphobic.

You are very perceptive.  There are few here that collectively have thousands and thousands of posts.  Have never been wrong.  Ever.

Some are very selective, too, about who and when evidence and proof to back up a opinion is needed.

Likely then that those types know certain things are true, but want to stall or deflect discussion until you find the information,  that of course to be valid has to come from their favored and approved sources.

Most likely not Fox News tho right? LOL

Do any use CNN?

Yep... in fact you are having a difficult time admitting that you were wrong about George Floyd maybe dying with the help of drugs or Floyd being elevated as a martyr by Democrats. You are unable to support those two things that you said or implied but you are struggling to admit that you were mistaken. Instead you accused me of moving the goal posts that you setup with your remarks.

Virtue indeed.

That's because I wasn't wrong. You read my post wrong. However I clarified that for you. Did you not read that part or did you selectively ignore it, pretend you didn't notice? The way you pretended you didn't see a violent post against Beerman? Is this a left wing tactic of yours?

Your words "may have"... that's wrong.

Deflecting and twisting and other nonsense doesn't change that you said that Floyd MAY have died because of drugs in his system and that is wrong.

 Meanwhile, back at the ranch:

The DOJ is busy redacting the affidavit to present to Judge Reinhardt tomorrow to determine if there’s anything left worth unsealing. Despite all the sturm und drang from the MAGAverse, the lawyers for Trump failed to file any motion to unseal (gotta wonder why). The request came from the media, including the New York Times.

DJT and what passes for his legal team then went judge-shopping, asking for, among other things, a block on DOJ review of the seized documents pending a review by a special master for irrelevant, personal or attorney/client privileged material.

Rather than submit that request to the judge presiding over the legalities of the investigation, they found themselves a trump appointee in a different court to hear the motion. She hasn’t fallen for it yet. After carefully teaching the attorneys the proper way to file such a motion, she asked them to explain why they did not file the motion with Judge Reinhardt. The answer to that and a number of other questions is presumably being prepared now.

It’s tempting to speculate on the goals of the dog-and-pony show being pursued by the MAGAverse. Are they trying to run out the clock until after the midterms? That way trump can declare his candidacy without losing GOP funding for his legal fees while, at the same time, halting the investigation because of his active political campaign a la the Barr memo.

Or are trump, his lawyers and his advisors just monumentally incompetent?

I'm not sure what source led you astray, as you didn't include it.  But, you seem to have a misunderstanding of the situation.

The Trump team filed a separate civil case. Like the criminal case,  it's randomly assigned.  Not possible to "Judge shop".

The judge is asking them to file a legal brief as to why their request should be in a new civil case, and not as part of the criminal case.  Maybe they are on solid legal ground, maybe not.  We'll see.

Cannon appeared to wonder why Trump’s lawyers filed a separate case to make the aforementioned requests rather than to litigate the matter before Reinhart.

Reinhart has noted that Trump’s attorneys never filed anything on the record in connection with the warrant, thus rendering their viewpoints on the issues at hand — aired frequently on television broadcasts but not where they count in court — unofficial at best.

Sure... Trump didn't go shopping for a different judge, he just didn't want to file relevant motions with the judge and court currently dealing with his document hoarding fiasco. That's it.

How that isn’t judge-shopping escapes me. Am I missing some sarcasm?

When I read about this move, the first thing I thought of was the addict who goes shopping for doctors/nurses/emergency departments that will provide either an immediate fix or a valid(ish) prescription.

So that’s my bias - since this is pure speculation, the question is more like starting a pool than stating a fact.

Yes...I was speaking sarcastically.  Trump wasn't judge shopping in exactly the same way he didn't know that he had federal documents that he shouldn't have.

Cases are randomly assigned.  When filing a new case, a party wouldn't know what judge would be assigned to it.

You asserted that they went and found a Trump appointed judge.

So, how did the Trump team know what judge would be assigned to the case?
