Favorite food in Ohio

U.S.A. Ohio

Published

HI all !

Was just thinking about a little tiny local town in my area that has the BEST BBQ ribs for miles around. They also give a huge portion, and we bring alot home.

Anyone have a favorite place to eat in your area or Ohio?

People come from miles around for these sandwiches.

My favorites are:

Miles Pizza Pub in BG- if it is still there - their cheese bread rocks.

Rusty's Jazz cafe- also history- had an awesome buffet- good music-

Oh toledo......... I am moving back Jan. 9th, after 6 years away.

There is also a place outside of Wooster that has the best chinese I have ever had!!!

I agree with lisaandandy, Defelice Bros. pizza is outstanding. We recently had them move into our area. They have a buffett to die for!!!

One of my most favorite foods. Cincy style Skyline Chilli!!!! I love it on pasta, with sharp cheddar cheese. I was in the Queen City for a laser seminar and bought a post card with the recipe on it. The old lady running the registar (with my permission) added a few missing ingredients. OH WOW!!! My wife now makes a fantastic skyline right at home. Great on dogs too!!!

Skyline Chili is my favorite OH food. I like it on spaghetti and on hot dogs, too. I have a recipe for it that I found on a copykat recipe site, would you mind giving us a hint as to what those extra ingredients are? :chuckle

Dix: My wife "files" away her recipes. ie: stuffs them somewhere that none of the rest of us can find. :chuckle

But I do remember coco, cinnamin (sp??) I think there was also, cumin. I went an looked in the pantry to see if I could see anything else.

If I find out more, I'll let you know.

Dang you guys!!! You're making me hungry!!!

Here in Portsmouth the best place to eat is O'Malley's. Its an Irish Bar/Grille. THey have the BEST prime rib ever! *drool*

In CIncy I like Bahama Breeze

Giovanni's pizza!

Ew, Giovanni's red pizza stinks, but I like their white pizza!

As for the best "cracker pizza" (square, by the slice)...you CAN NOT beat Giannamore's Pizza in Wintersville!

Also like Lancelots in Wintersville!

Now, for breakfast, there's a place in Upper Arlington I love...but I can't remember the exact name. It's something like "First Cup" or something to that effect. It's in a little shopping plaza.
