FAU FNP 2020

Nursing Students School Programs

Updated:   Published

Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone has heard back about interviews/admissions for Florida Atlantic University's Fall 2020 FNP program.

I applied to NursingCas and to FAU well before the deadline and still haven't heard anything.

Hi everyone, I'm currently getting my BSN and I'm looking into MSN programs for the future. I was curious to know what kind of jobs/specialties are you guys going for as an NP and what made you choose FNP as opposed to other MSN degrees?

Has anyone heard back about signing up for classes yet? I emailed Matthew back in May, just currently awaiting the email to sign up. I don't want to miss anything

I spoke with Matthew and he said our classes are held for us and they send out emails once dean signs off on it

Hi! Current psych DNP student here. No one is signing up for fall classes yet because of Covid-19. They aren't certain if all classes will be remote, hybrid, or some fully face-to-face classes. Like Nursejen90 said, your seats are always guaranteed, and you will be granted permission to register each semester. Good luck!

Fyi: we created a facebook group for all FAU graduate students. Search for 'FAU Graduate Nursing Students'.

Hi,

Just to add; My 2 step TB was accepted in castle branch along with the annual health form & vaccines. Except influenza of course. I did everything at the PCP.

I believe I read in a email a while back that we would be auto enrolled in the first semester classes.

Good thing on the curriculum 1st semester is fully online (I believe) & Covid pandemic hasn’t affected this approach.

Best wishes!

Hey guys

I received email from Matt yesterday with approval to register for classes. Check FAU emails.

I signed up for classes too after the email. And I also confirmed vaccinations like he mentioned in the email. So question, anyone know if we have to buy books? I tried searching the bookstore by course and nothing came up.

I haven't seen anything on books yet myself, I'm hoping to see something soon.

There is a bookstore link under the class in your schedule that will show you what books are needed. The patho book is hugh and the caring class has three books I have one in a PDF form if you send me your email I will send it to you if you would like.

Hi adpieer,

I found the books by searching the bookstore. Also, you can find them by clicking the link of the course on your registered schedule, a pop up with the bookstore link will direct you to the specific books of that class.
