Farmingdale Spring 2020

Hi everyone!

I am applying to the Advanced Standing Nursing Program at Farmingdale for Spring 2020. Just wanted to see if there is anyone else out there applying. If you would like to share your grades, feel free! Good luck to everyone! ??‍⚕️

Prerequisite GPA: 4.0

GPA: 3.67

TEAS: 82.7

Perfect, so I'm not worried about the online orientation thing not working then. I'll see if I can get my money back, but I doubt it. I've reached out a couple times to tell them it isn't working and nobody has gotten back to me. *shocker* lol I'm just looking forward to the Nursing Orientation!

Has anyone tried registering for the December 5th orientation on the application portal and is having an issue? I've tried registering so many times and every time it refreshes back to the main menu there's still a red x next to it. I emailed the nursing department about RSVP'ing, but no one's emailed me back yet. I hope they got my email. ?‍♀️

When you register, there is no confirmation page or confirmation email that is sent to us that we have registered. I emailed the nursing dept too and they got back to me so I’m sure they will get back to you too

That's weird, you would think they would at least confirm you registered for it. Thanks though!

I was able to register on the portal, but it didn't do anything special afterwards to say it was confirmed. I have been communicating back and forth with the nursing e-mail about an outstanding transcript I need to send in, so they should respond to you pretty quick! ?

I sent my immunizations and health forms to the Health & Wellness center. They cleared me for registration, but also told me that I need to get a link from the Nursing program to input the info into Castle Branch. I've reached out to the nursing program but haven't heard back about that yet. Is this true, and how would I go about doing it? Is it a private link or can I just sign into something and input the info? So confused. lol

I think we will get al the Castle Branch information tomorrow at orientation.

I have the school email set up, but I have not received anything yet about registration.

I believe it will be listed in Oasis, registration, under student schedule. I think they are waiting for 10 DEU people to be selected first, then they will begin registering people. I am thinking it will be sometime next week.
