Farmingdale BS Advanced Standing Program - Spring 2021

Hey guys!

I didn't see a thread started for Farmingdale's Advanced Standing Program. I wanted to see if there is anyone already preparing to apply for their Spring 2021 semester. I'm starting my application now.

Side note: Does anyone know if Farmingdale prefers/requires letters of recommendation, resume, or any additional documents (aside from official transcripts and TEAS score)??

OMG the wait is killing me. I thought admissions said we would know no later than Friday aka today! Ughh I want to know NOW haha I keep checking email, portal, and oasis. No updates. Come ooonnnn! 

Anyone hear anything?

Also do they offer admission to the college in general if you don't get into the nursing program....assuming that your grades are adequate for regular liberal arts admissions.

Just checked my mail and there was no letter, nothing on my portal either. Maybe there's been some kind of delay?

Update: I called admissions and the committee extended their review of applications to Sunday. Decisions should be coming out on Monday.

Thanks for the update! So crazy, I wonder if there are more applications this semester or a lot of "tied" applications. Who knows... I guess Ill just keep checking/refreshing the portal, oasis and gmail!!

Awesome! Congratulations! Just checked mine, no change yet ?‍♀️ glad to know they are making updates though.

 

I heard they post decisions alphabetically so maybe they havent gotten to my last name yet. It's starts with "h" so hopefully sooooon!
