Hey guys!
I didn't see a thread started for Farmingdale's Advanced Standing Program. I wanted to see if there is anyone already preparing to apply for their Spring 2021 semester. I'm starting my application now.
Side note: Does anyone know if Farmingdale prefers/requires letters of recommendation, resume, or any additional documents (aside from official transcripts and TEAS score)??
Fingers crossed for everyone applying!
I'm so nervous. I wasn't planning on submitting an application for next term but decided if not now then when.
I registered for my TEAS this past Sunfay. Took it on Tuesday and had my application completed by Wednesday.
It's been a roller coaster of emotions the past few days but I'm so excited I took this step forward!
Now the waiting....is it November yet? Haha
Hi Everyone,
I also applied to the advanced standing program and I'm curious to know how competitive the scores will be this year, specifically pertaining to the TEAS...I saw that the last years program accepted a student with a TEAS score of 75, but the 2017 year declined someone who got a 78...trying to understand that. How was everyone's TEAS? I got a 79, have a 3.9 average for prereqs and 3.8 average for overall GPA.
Hey!
TEAS 86
Prerequisites GPA 4.0
Cumulative GPA 3.6

Yeah, they prob already have it on file. I just called my HS so they can send it over electronically.
On the portal I saw it said optional but I guess they want to make sure applicants completed the Chemistry regents in HS if they didn't take a college level one.
