I am new here and I just have a couple of questions about FAMU's nursing program. I have an AA from BCC pre nursing,now I am currently attending FIU taking 2 classes. I am applying for the spring semester, I already got into the school now I amj ust getting everything together for the nursing program. So, if you applied to that school and got in please reply back to this. Here are my question
1) I know we have to set up an interview but im confused, do I need to do that before the deadline for the nursing application, or after?
2) Ihave the 3 letters of recommendation but I read somewhere on here that we need to write an essay too. I dont recall that.
Im sure both of you guys will get in (so hopeful and tortor) your G.P.As are great..i wish i had a 3.6..but I basically have to go with the cards I was dealt and I'm hoping my letters of recommendation and my essay will hold some kind of weight for me..That's funny that u guys went to UCF. I went to UCF for like to years also and got my A.A. from there. I just recently moved back home..so like everybody else I'm just playing the waiting game now...
I know I wish they accepted more than 50 :/ I think that's what makes it so nerve racking! Any idea how many people applied? Arielle- what was your gpa when you applied? Thanks so much for the optimistic thoughts for me and tortor :)
Yes thank you for the positive thoughts! I am not really sure I called and asked the adviser about a month ago and she said that they had more than they have had in a while but she hadn't had a chance to count them all yet.
