I agree!! I have never seen test this absurd. To be asked about statistics and what-not. I feel there was no way to study for either of them and I bombed this final as well-I am sure of it. Very frustrating!!

I am going to say that this test was ridiculous. There is NO WAY in a book laden with facts and figures regarding just about every area of family nursing that you would be able to know all the answers. Suffice it to say, even open-book this would be killer......

So, in other words the "study guide" was useless? I'm going to take it tomorrow at some point. Of all the important stuff to ask, they ask about statistics? Why ask about stats? Stats will change from year to year where as the theories have kind of passed the test of time, and I would think are an important area of family nursing!! Uggg...not looking forward to it. Hopefully, it will be curved like the midterm was. All I need to get an A in the class is an 80 on the final...I could not get any right and still get the minimum 80% to pass the class, but still really want that A :(

Have not taken it yet. Looks like LUCKY guessing will have to be the name of the game...AGAIN. I read all the chapters and tried to use study guide (word list). Just to have it be an impossible to know the right answer type of test.

It is a shame. Head shake.

The study guide is a far-reaching guideline. Looking at it after the fact, I can see the connections. I wanted to vomit when I pushed submit LOL

Haha nausea was the feeling that I was consumed with as well. Then it was just frustration because it does not seem like a fair test at all. Some of these answers I coud honeslt not even find anymore afterwards. It is true that statistics, research, and facts change so it is"useless" for a test.

Ugh. I have not taken it yet. This is how I felt after the last test. I ended up with a 89/90? and I feel like I honestly guessed on a bunch. I read the book and I do not think it helped at all last time. It probably will not this time either.

that final was bad... why do i need to MEMORIZE STATISTICS?! is that what my patient/family is gonna ask me when I approach them? SERIOUSLY?!?!

It would have to be! How many of us remember that x% of mothers work a second job because they are not college educated? Yeah, that is made up...but still. I cannot remember the % of the time I get up to use the restroom in the middle of the night in the last week, let alone some of the things on these 2 tests. But at least it is over!!!
