Anyone applying to WesternU's MSN-E program? If so, do you know when they will start the interview process? What they look for in their applicants (gpa, extracurricular, etc)?

Current students--What were your stats like?

If you look at the bottom of the page it lets you know who's watching it. Last week I noticed 35 or so members and guests watching. So i think a lot of people know about it and if you look back a lot of people have posted. I would say we have anywhere from 60-80% of the people that interviewed at least watching this site.

If 60-80% are watching & only 9 or so have posted regarding their status that means admissions still has a ways to go on notifying people. Are my numbers off? :cool:

I just got my letter saying that I've been put on the alternate list.

ilnurse....I am at work so I won't be checking my mail until around 530 mountain time...I will post asap if I have rec'd anything. Alternate list seems like a good thing right now, they are notifying people so late that a lot of people will have other plans. Is Western your first choice? Do you have other options?

Yes. I would love to go to Western. I have been accepted in other programs so I do have other options. What about you?

I only applied to western & university of Minnesota, I didn't get accepted to Minnesota so Western is my last hope. I still have one app not due until July though. Really hoping I can be done with applying & interviewing though. I would love to go to Western!

I got into their ABSN program, but was waitlisted for the FNP program. I may reapply to it since it is a winter start, I'm also reapplying to Rush. I still have a few I'm waiting on to hear back from. Western was definitely my first choice. I hope there is lots of movement on the list and we all ultimately get in!

I'll have to look into that program. Although isn't that website whats causing Western so many probs....
