Anyone applying to WesternU's MSN-E program? If so, do you know when they will start the interview process? What they look for in their applicants (gpa, extracurricular, etc)?

Current students--What were your stats like?

I didn't get a letter, and I'm in southern California as well! So frustrating! I just want to know already, this is getting tiresome...

Received my denial letter today as well- yes- i'm in California. Will have to try again next year.

Edylnnv: I talked to admissions and all notifications have gone out for accepted. You should probably call them. Where are you located? I'm in Illinois and I got a letter yesterday.

im located in southern cal. I just called-- they said they are still going through applications... seriously? hmm..im so nervous. maybe ill get a mail later today--apparently someone already received denied/acceptance letters in the mail from so cal. i dont know..

I hadn't received anything, but got an acceptance email yesterday morning. The only thing I can come up with is that maybe they had a few borderline acceptances, but were waiting to get refusals from others to send out notification?? I don't know, just a guess...

bblue: Do you mean the website that we applied to? I checked it and my status still says complete and ready to process.

I talked to D.M. yesterday and they are not sending out any thing else really to those on the alternate list until they hear back from those accepted. She will give the number needed to the admissions committee and they will get together and deliberate on the alternate list and submit however many names needed to fill the spots. So there is no real "ranked" list and it's not random, it's more of a process. I think that might actually be good.

I think she also said that they were going to give those admitted time to deposit and send in their decline to attend letters, this way the committee doesn't have to keep meeting to pull one or two names, they can do a bunch at once or none at all, it all depends on how many people don't accept their admission offer.

I have still rec'd no email or letter...I'm wondering if I should call admissions. I am in colorado. Can someone post the number for admissions they have been calling?
