Anyone applying to WesternU's MSN-E program? If so, do you know when they will start the interview process? What they look for in their applicants (gpa, extracurricular, etc)?

Current students--What were your stats like?

Congrats, So they emailed you first and sent the official letter in teh mail too? Did you get in for the NP track or the CM track? are you going to go to western or smu's CM track? luckily you have choices. HAPPY FOR YOU

It seems like a total of maybe max 10 ppl got accepted, but how do we know that the other 50 or so ppl arent signed up on allnurses.com ? that idea kills me

Sahar5, That's true, but if you look back and see how many people posted on this site, it seems odd to me that more people wouldn't have posted one way or the other. Also, there seem to be an awful lot of guests viewing the site, why would they keep looking if they weren't looking to see who got accepted-waitlisted-denied? I think that they have sent several letters and that they are waiting on decisions to send the rest. Also, they probably will be sending more emails now that several people have posted that they declined the offer to go to Western.

Sounds like admissions has made their preliminary decisions and when each of our applications has been reviewed we will be notified. Their process seems to be a bit random but perhaps they're just being very thorough. I wish they were a bit more diligent so we all could move forward in our decision making.

delaine219- did you call admissions? Does that mean they are still deciding who to accept?

Email, so there wasn't any clarification of what was said but I took it as those that have been accepted have been notified. I'm assuming those of us in limbo are waiting to hear if we are wait-listed or rejected. Honestly, who the heck knows until we hear officially. I did ask when we would be hearing on our status and wasn't answered directly.
