Anyone applying to WesternU's MSN-E program? If so, do you know when they will start the interview process? What they look for in their applicants (gpa, extracurricular, etc)?

Current students--What were your stats like?

Does everyone else feel like me... all these schools seem like they want different prerequisites and test requirements. I feel like I will be taking classes and testing forever just trying to get into a program. When all is said and done we should all be qualified to get into a Med school. LOL

ilnurse, did you talk to different people? how did you end up with different answers? i don't know what to believe anymore :( i tried calling today but none of the counselors picked up their phones

I'm sorry to have sounded the alarm earlier. I was just told that not all decisions have been given to the admissions department. THERE IS STILL HOPE!

ilnurse, where did you hear this from? in another post, you said it was just a false alarm. so confusing! :confused:

According to admissions, all emails have been sent out. So I guess all that's left is to check our mailboxes later this week

I feel exactly that way. I wish they all required the same thing like med school does. Each school wants a different class or test, its very frustrating! :bugeyes:

I had a question for you guys that said you got denied from APU. When did you get denied? Did you receive a letter in the mail? For what application cycle was did you apply? I appreciate answers. I applied to start in the Fall 2011 (I think start of program is in August or September) but haven't heard anything. Thank You :)

I called admission counselor this morning. She said acceptance emails had all gone out she believes... and that letters will be in our mailbox at the end of the week...acceptance/waitlist. And she said, she believes people waitlisted can be accpeted all the way up until August when the program starts.

vickan, who did you talk to? that is a bummer because i talked to jacob on friday and he said that acceptance emails will be sent out as the list is updated and that not all of them have been sent out yet... people unless he was just saying that to try to prevent anxious people from panicking...

I called michelle cowling...but not sure if she was the one i spoke too, she never said her name. I don't think there is no point in speculating anymore, seems like everyone has different answers.

i spoke directly to D.M. she is the one that is sending out the emails, so she would know best. She said that she is still waiting on lists and that there is still hope to admitted. She hopes to have all the names by tomorrow afternoon and get more emails out then and Wednesday morning. She also hopes to have letters in the mail around then so we know by the end of the week or early next week.

The reason I called back after talking to the first person is because so many other people posted that the lists hadn't been completed and I thought that first thing this morning I was told that all emails were sent out and we should look in out mailboxes. She also sounded rather uncertain and I had talked to D.M. before and I trust her.

i don't know what to believe anymore because i got inconsistent answers from michelle and jacob. michelle made it seem like all admission emails have already been sent out and jacob said that he knows there are spots left for sure and that they send them out as they get notified.. it's all so confusing but i hope there is still hope :(
