Anyone applying to WesternU's MSN-E program? If so, do you know when they will start the interview process? What they look for in their applicants (gpa, extracurricular, etc)?
Current students--What were your stats like?
Any information would be helpful =)
Thanks in advance!
I'm sorry to have sounded the alarm earlier. I was just told that not all decisions have been given to the admissions department. THERE IS STILL HOPE!
What happened ilnurse? haha did you call back to double check?
Weas- when are you taking your teas? I need to start looking into that just in case I don't get in.
You bet I did!
I've taken the TEAS exam version 4. You need to look at the program and it will tell you what version they require. SMU for instance required version 4. Rush and GWU didn't require it at all. instead they accepted the GRE. I can tell you that the TEAS exam is kinda like an ACT for nursing. It seems to touch on many of the same prinicipals as the ACT does, but it's geared more toward nursing. I ended up with a pretty good score and I decided not to retake it. If you google free TEAS exam questions you can get some better insight as to what they will look like and there is even a forum on this site about both versions. I hope this helps

Whoa, ilnurse15, thanks for the update! Just wondering, but were you able to contact any of the admissions counselors? I tried calling this morning to get the low down, but was unsuccessful. I left a message with Jacob Rivera. I guess we should keep checking our emails (very 30 seconds)?
Thanks for the update Dewdrops. Good luck at your school!!!!!!!
Nyoon, I was able to speak with an admissions counselor.
Weas, make sure to look at those free sites and check out those forums about the exam. You can take it mulitple times in a month so don't worry if your first attempt isn't the best.
