Anyone applying to WesternU's MSN-E program? If so, do you know when they will start the interview process? What they look for in their applicants (gpa, extracurricular, etc)?
Current students--What were your stats like?
Any information would be helpful =)
Thanks in advance!
cacon, is it rolling admissions? or will they actually have a wait list where they rank students then a set of people they reject? thanks :)
I don't think it's alphabetical or based on interview dates. Acceptance emails & letters are going to be sent out until all seats are filled (August). Good Luck All!
Congrats to those who have been accepted into the program! I received my acceptance email this morning at around 11am Pacific Time. I interviewed on Jan. 28th. I am super excited and hope that those who haven't received their acceptance emails yet will be arriving soon! Try to stay hopeful :)
congrats ririlux! what letter does your last name begin with? i interviewed on the 31st.

thank you everyone. =) I received the decision by email and it was around 11:45 this morning. I interviewed on 2/14 in the morning and my last name starts with an "R" (obviously). Please do not be discouraged to those who are still waiting. I realize that is easier said than done, but they're not going to send all acceptances on the same day. Plus, even if they did, not everyone is going to accept. I for one, am on the fence...
In regards to choosing between SMU and Western, I would choose SMU ONLY because of location. It's in the bay and that's where my family is, as well as my boyfriend.. I unfortunately, do not have SMU as an option. I don't think I got in since I was not asked to interview. As for reputation, its a good school, but it isn't THE best ... maybe the best in the area, since there isn't very many options in the area in the first place. && I'm saying all this without resentment, cause I'd say the same even if I did get into the program. =)
I'm on the fence cause I'm having a hard time swallowing that $71 thou the first 12 months ... I realize we could probably get sponsored hospitals, but realistically, what are the chances? Hmmm... I don't know. I feel blessed to have options, so I hope I'm not coming off in the wrong way...
Sending good thoughts, good thoughts to everyone!
