Fall 2016 Wake Tech Applicants

Published

Hey Everyone,

I'm not new to this site, just new to actually joining and posting my own story since I myself am finally able to began the application process of applying to Wake Tech next Fall. Anyone else out there applying?

Congrats! It's a great score from what I have been hearing from others! I really hope that they're right about 156 being very competitive....but I guess we'll see in 5 or 6 months...it seems like such a long wait!!

Hi all! January 31st is creeping up. Anyone getting close to turning in an application?

I am mailing mine in on Monday!! After turning in the application, it's just waiting right? When do we start hearing anything? Is there anything else we need to do after turning it in? I know another school I am applying to sends you a rating form and then you have an information session to attend in March. I am so ready to get in to a program!

What was your score? I have AP2 to complete and then I'm applying in July of next year. I finally see some light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm still working on the CNA requirement. I wish I could go ahead and submit an application but I'm waiting until July. Thankfully it gives me time to take some other classes for more points. From what I've heard though after you submit an app, I think it's just a waiting game.

My score for the TEAS was 84% I think for my points with the new system, it's 154, but I am taking Micro this semester. If I don't get in to any program for the fall, I will apply for the Spring semester.

Anyone know anything about the points for this application cycle? I'm curious to know what's considered "competitive" with the new point scale. I was told by an advisor what she thought was competitive, but of course that's only a prediction. Curious to know the points of other applicants.

Hi gotgifts3, so you're applying this July or July 2017? Thankfully I've heard that the spring is a little less competitive than the fall! I'm applying in the spring as well.

Does anyone know when they start notifying people of acceptance or not? I know they're still taking applications, I just wonder how long I have to wait!

I'm not sure but looking at past forums I don't think people start finding out until March

That's what i was seeing...late March early April...I'm glad because there's one school I have to wait until mid-May to hear anything! I just emailed to make sure they received my application, so hopefully it's March soon!

Has you talked to anyone else applying? I'm so nervous about the points!
