Fall 2011 UT Houston Health Sciences hopefuls

I am a ut houston hopeful applying for the pacesetter and traditional programs for fall 2011! I will be done with my pre-req's: engl 1302 and hist 1302 this spring 2011. I plan on taking the hesi the beginning of December since the deadline for ut-houston has been changed to Jan 15. 2011. I wish everybody good luck as were getting down to the wire!!1 Anyone else out there?

My holds have not changed. I've checked 3 times to make sure. :sniff:

I started to panic when I saw that a few people's holds have changed and mine didn't. I thought it was most likely over for me.

But you have GOT to get in! Your scores are perfect! So if you haven't had a change in your holds then that means they are just not done updating.

Fhew! I think I will keep a watch on whether you get in to know how close they are to accepting/denying everyone.

My biggest insecurity is the 80 I got on the A&P portion of the HESI. That was probably the most important section, and I think I read somewhere that for people accepted to UT, the average score on the A&P section was 85. So I know I'm in the acceptable range, but there are probably people who were more consistent in their scores.

But I know it's not over yet; UTLink seems to be updated in stages and not all at once. I haven't given up hope. :D

when is the last day they are going to update the status?

I would say give it until the end of day Friday before you start freaking out. That's my plan, anyway. ;)

So just curious, when did you guys submit your applications and transcripts? Was it right at the due date or earlier? I'm just wondering because it seems like my UT link is never going to be updated, it STILL says that my TSI is not accepted. I have literally called about 12 times and been assured that it is fine, so I guess I am just freaking out. What makes me even more worried is that my transcript evaluation said that they did not have my TSI either. I had a transcript sent to my house to make sure that it is on there though, and it was. I guess they just haven't gotten to mine, it feels like I have been waiting for 6 months! =)

hey carrien86 sorry about the bad news. How did u hear about pvam ? i've applied there as well and i haven't heard anything from them.

I went in to drop off some recommendation letters and they told me. Straight up.:hlk:

I heard that is VERY important to UT................

Ah! im sooo freaking out....

my status hasnt changed, still have 2 holds

im nervous b/c my stats arent that great

did pretty good on my HESI but my overall and science gpa are not the best

i still have 2 classes to finish up which would bring up the gpa some more

oh, the anxiety!! :uhoh3:
