Fall 2009 UT Houston BSN Applicants

Published

Hey everyone! I applied to UT houston and I'm waiting to hear if I got an interview. Applicants for years in the past started threads that everyone went to and kept everyone updated on information from the school, and it's nice to hear from possible (fingers crossed) other future classmates. If you don't mind, I'd also like to post our application info: GPA (science and overall), NET scores and experience.

My stats:

Overall GPA: 3.93

Science GPA: 3.75 (I think- UT link is down today :wink2:

NET: composite score was 88% (96 percentile)

I'm currently employed as a CNA in a hospital (only have about a month experience so far)

Goodluck and hopefully I get some replies!

I don't mind... Sorry to hear you didn't make it in this time but good luck on the other schools you applied to!

Hi, I just sent a request rachelerin on facebook. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

Is you first name Nafisat? I am confused because I confirmed you but you are not showing up?!?!

I'm able to access the blog.

Can whoever was accepted into the accelerated prgm please post their info: facebook, email, etc...? I'm trying to see what classmates will be joining me in accelerated this summer vs. the generic program candidates in the fall. Thanks all! :D

P.S.

Still no "official" letter in mail

So this should be pretty obvious, but I'm finding the UT-Houston webpage impossible to understand. Under the description for the generic BSN program, the program is referred to as being four semesters, and the sample course schedule shows this as well. However, on the tuition sheet, it shows the program going FIVE semesters. Anybody know how long it actually is???

Hi nhoward. how did you know you were not accepted? it looks like i wasn't taken in either. i haven't gotten any word from UTLink nor the mail. it must mean then that the selection process is over, right? thanks.
