Hey everyone! I applied to UT houston and I'm waiting to hear if I got an interview. Applicants for years in the past started threads that everyone went to and kept everyone updated on information from the school, and it's nice to hear from possible (fingers crossed) other future classmates. If you don't mind, I'd also like to post our application info: GPA (science and overall), NET scores and experience.
My stats:
Overall GPA: 3.93
Science GPA: 3.75 (I think- UT link is down today :wink2:
NET: composite score was 88% (96 percentile)
I'm currently employed as a CNA in a hospital (only have about a month experience so far)
I remember you! Were both faculty members in the same room with you interviewing you together, or did you go to two separate rooms to speak with each? I'm just wondering why I only had one person interviewing me! It appears that I was asked the exact same questions. I would say that my interview was no longer than 20 minutes...maybe even shorter.
I am applying to the Basic Program BSN at UT as well. I have a question about one of the requirments. What is the TSI I have never seen that one before, can someone give some insight on this please, I am turning all paperwork in on Monday, I just want to make sure that I have all what they need.
One of the applicants that interviewed on the 21st said that we should hear something in 2 weeks or so. I'm wondering if that is the case or if we really do have to suffer until March!
I only applied for the generic BSN and they interview us later so I have a loooong time to wait!! I wish the interview was over and I had an acceptance letter :) So does everyone else on this board!
Hi everyone, I had a quick question to ask any of you guys who have applied for the BSN Generic for FALL 2009. When I go check my account on utlink I do not see were my GPA is. Is anyone else having this problem or do you guys have ur GPA posted etc. Thanks
Okay thanks, This is my first time ever applying to Nursing School and don't really know what to expect. Does anyone know a competitive GPA or NET score
I'm not sure about GPA but i got a 90% on the NET Test
That's an awesome NET score. At the information session I attended they said the average GPA accepted in the past is 3.25 and NET score is 70. I thought these were kinda low considering how many applicants they have for the number of slots available. I guess other things must play an important role like the interview and experience. Who knows! Have you received a letter for an interview? Good luck!
