Hey everyone! I applied to UT houston and I'm waiting to hear if I got an interview. Applicants for years in the past started threads that everyone went to and kept everyone updated on information from the school, and it's nice to hear from possible (fingers crossed) other future classmates. If you don't mind, I'd also like to post our application info: GPA (science and overall), NET scores and experience.
My stats:
Overall GPA: 3.93
Science GPA: 3.75 (I think- UT link is down today :wink2:
NET: composite score was 88% (96 percentile)
I'm currently employed as a CNA in a hospital (only have about a month experience so far)
The interview went good. I think lol. I don't think I will get accepted to UT though due to my net test reading score (whichwasn't hot). But, I'm hoping twu or hbu will accept me! Good luck everyone! Thanks for the support! You guys are great and I hope you all get in! Then tell me what it's like because she made it sound terribly hard today.

Don't give up so easy after all you have gone through to get this far! How long did your interview take overall? how many were there? I was there for almost 5 hrs last week! Did they ask about your net score? It was never brought up at my interview. My reading net score was not so great either I did get above 70 which is what I think the cut off was but not much! keep positive!
nhoward- It's nice to see that persistance paid off! Was there anyone else there waiting to interview or do you think they are finished? Hopefully we all get in! I check my status daily though I know we won't find out for several more weeks :) Marathon runner- they didn't ask about my scores either. Good luck everyone!
I just realized today (I had forgotten) that any Accelerated BSN applicants who interview but aren't accepted into the program automatically get added to our pool of applicants for the generic BSN.
O.K. I need to stop thinking about it- I'm just coming up with more and more reasons to worry about getting in! How are all yall coping?

Honestly, I have just come to the conclusion that I have done my best and have tried not to think about it! I know it is very un-nerving if you think about all the things that are out of our control. I have found comfort in knowing that I really would not change anything I have done to get to this point. Keep positive and focus your attention on something you can control! That will help alot!
