Hey everyone! I applied to UT houston and I'm waiting to hear if I got an interview. Applicants for years in the past started threads that everyone went to and kept everyone updated on information from the school, and it's nice to hear from possible (fingers crossed) other future classmates. If you don't mind, I'd also like to post our application info: GPA (science and overall), NET scores and experience.
My stats:
Overall GPA: 3.93
Science GPA: 3.75 (I think- UT link is down today :wink2:
NET: composite score was 88% (96 percentile)
I'm currently employed as a CNA in a hospital (only have about a month experience so far)
The math was really easy for me. I got a 91 in that. I guess I'm better at math. ??? I didn't feel like I had enough time for the reading, but I only took the test 1 time. I bet I would do better if I took it again.
I too haven't gotten an interview for UTHouston. I have a 4.0 in my prereqs and a composite 84 on my net. I called them today and they said that they are still doing interviews so that may be a good sign.
i also had a question for NHoward. who did you get in contact with concerning your interview and what did you ask them. I called the student affairs office and they just told me to wait because interview letters are still being sent out or something like that.
I talked to the dean of student affairs. I told her I was concerned that I might have lost the letter in the mail. What did you get on the net reading score? That's what they look at instead of the composite. That's why I didn't get an interview initially
I wonder why it doesn't say that on the website. I thought TWU only looked at the reading, and UT-Houston looks at the composite. If I would have known that, I wouldn't have applied to start with. It was a waste of $$$$

I took it at Lonestar College North Harris. They added it in the Fall 2008 for the UTMB program.
