I was just accepted to UTA as a student and just filled out the application for the traditional BSN program. I'm kind of worried that my stats might not be so great and wanted to see if anyone else has applied?
3.5 Science GPA
3.66 Overall
92 HESI
I am not partnered and I hadn't heard about that before I was on this site. I work full time in a non healthcare field.
I still need to take the three prerequisite classes (Pharmacology, Pathophysiologic Processes, Intro to Professional Nursing) at UTA, as well as Technical Writing, American History I, Texas Government, and College Algebra which should raise my overall GPA.
Any advice/ anyone else applying for Fall 2014?
@wendyredhead Does that mean you'll be withdrawing your waitlist spot for on-campus? Is it even an option to wait, if you would prefer to be on-campus? I was wait-listed for both So I'm hoping a lot of people got into at least 1 of the 2 and drop their 'other' spot, if you get what I'm saying? Lol :)
@utamav6072 what were you GPAs? You and I are in the same boat! I hate that we don't know where we stand on the waitlist! You'd think they could at least tell us that, so we could plan our summers or next semesters. My science GPA is 3.25, 3.6 overall w/ 2 considerations: 30+ hrs at UTA, 12+ science hrs at UTA.
