Fall 2014- Traditional BSN

Nursing Students Texas (UTA)

Published

I was just accepted to UTA as a student and just filled out the application for the traditional BSN program. I'm kind of worried that my stats might not be so great and wanted to see if anyone else has applied?

3.5 Science GPA

3.66 Overall

92 HESI

I am not partnered and I hadn't heard about that before I was on this site. I work full time in a non healthcare field.

I still need to take the three prerequisite classes (Pharmacology, Pathophysiologic Processes, Intro to Professional Nursing) at UTA, as well as Technical Writing, American History I, Texas Government, and College Algebra which should raise my overall GPA.

Any advice/ anyone else applying for Fall 2014?

I don't know. I actually emailed my adviser yesterday asking her that, so hopefully she says yes. Did you end up applying for the spring?

Yes I did. My GPA's are much higher this round, so I'm hopeful!

i hope you get in! just keep your hopes up.

hi im new to this but I was once denied admission and they randomly put me on the waiting list may 16 and i was wondering if anyone has been denied and on the wait list then called up for a spot for the off campus program?

also when is the last day we are able to get called up? I want to know if I have any hope of getting in or if im just taking a place just to have the waiting list filled.

I was initially denied for the off campus program and waitlisted for on campus. I received an email a little sooner than you did asking if I wanted to be waitlisted for off campus. Once I turned the paper in I got a call about two weeks later. My adviosr told me that when the background check comes there's usually a few more people that get called because of something on the their background check. So keep your hopes up because there's still a chance!

Hi everyone, do you guys know when is the date for Orientation?

Does anyone know when the deadline is for the next appl for online RN program?

Probably January for the fall start

Wait list? I guess so many people are applying into the program.
