  1. I will be starting College Algebra 1302 on Jan 19th, does anyone have any advice about this course. I am a little challenged when it comes to Math. Math gurus who have taken this course pls help me.
  2. Hello Rush2sknnr, Technical writing and Prof. Nursing are both writing intensive. It is better to take one of the courses with another course that does not involve too much writing. If you love to write then go ahead...it is doable but be warned a lot of writing. I was working when I did the courses. It is not difficult, it's just the papers you have to turn in every week (APA format and everything that comes with that).
  3. Good job Rnchaveri1...Glad you got A in tech writing.
  4. Hi Rnchaverii1, The Art class is quite easy. You are not tested on your drawing skills, it is just appreciating art that's all. You are required to take a picture of a statue or a monument at your local museum or where ever you can find one, then you comment on it. The quizzes are from the text book, there are no tricks or confusion. It's pretty easy, in fact I took it with another class. Good luck.
  5. Anyone who have taken Legacy of family please PM me.
  6. Wait list? I guess so many people are applying into the program.
  7. You don't have to be '"partnered" to get into RN-BSN at UTA. I live out of state and I am in the program.
  8. For those who have taken Capstone. What advice can you give? Is it easy or stressful?
  9. How is Health assessment? Is it the assignment part that is hard or the quizzes. What are the strategies to passing this course?
  10. Hello TexasGirl24, Technical writing is alright. Just follow the rubrics and you will do fine. It's a lot of writing but compared to Health Assessment it is a child's play. You can actually take technical writing with another course if you want. This is just to tell you it is not stressful. Once again follow rubrics and you will get an "A".
  11. Technical writing can be combined with Professional Nursing. It is a lot of writing but you can still do it. With time management you can come out with an "A" in both courses. Just follow the rubrics and you be fine.
  12. Done with Art Appreciation class. It was alright and not stressful. You can combine this with another class with no problem. You don't need to know how to draw. If you are "drawing challenged" you can still make it in this class. The grading has nothing to do with your drawing skills. The class is an exposure to the art world. It about knowing the different art works from different cultures. I really enjoyed the course.
  13. Hi [COLOR=#003366]CaliNurseHeather, I will be starting the Art class too
  14. Thanks Idawn79, I will just go ahead and take the two courses.
