Hello everyone! Just thought I'd start a thread to see where everyone is applying for Fall 2007! It seems like it will take forever for April to get here! Good luck to everyone who is applying! Also, does anyone know when Texas Christian is sending letters, I think it's April but I couldn't find a month on the website. I applied to TCU and TWU- Dallas.
what!!!!!! i'm so sorry!!!
well i'm alittle sad, weatherford where i had been accepted bumped me to alternate list because during this semester i had to drop my lifespan psychology class...so now i'm an alternate instead of accepted. oh well i suppose there's not much i can do about it, except to wait to hear and prepare to reapply to programs again for spring.

yep. it was upsetting after i talked to them, but i resolved that i'll just start the process over again and apply for spring admission to that program and others. i thought they might work with me about taking the class in a minimester but they couldn't they said because i didn't finish the course i couldn't take that point (they do acceptance on a pt system) which bumped me down and point and it put me as an alternate.
where are you on the alternate list?

i know that, but what place are you in on the alternative list ..first..second?
lol it's been a long day at work :trout: for me not to realize what you meant by that...they didn't tell me what place i was when i asked...all that was said was that they if a spot opens up they could call the first 3 on the list and those 3 don't get back with them, and then #4 answers and talks with them then #4 gets the spot.
Just for future reference - a pregnant woman can be vaccinated against Hepatitis A & B if there is some reason to believe she may have risk of exposure. Heptavax B is a killed virus vaccine and Havrix is an inactived virus vaccine.
The only vaccines you would never give a pregnant woman are live vaccines - which would include Rubella.
Somewhere in there is a test question you will be asked somewhere along the line! Hehehehe
By the way - "Alternate" does not mean "Give up", 17 years ago, I was an alternate. Now? It doesn't even cross my mind anymore for the most part. It won't matter in the long run. Hang in there - and keep that phone nearby!
