FALL 2021 Nursing program at Suffolk county community college

Nursing program

Published

Hello, I am currently a student at Suffolk county community college preparing to apply for the nursing program for fall 2021 start. I figured I would start this early since the deadline was extended to March 1st 2021. I am preparing to take the TEAS in December most of my prerequisites are finished with a grade of A and one B. If anyone has some great tips on how to score in the 80s and 90s feel free to share. I wish everyone the best of luck.

For first semester, according to the Day program class list:

 NUR 101: Fundamentals of Nursing

NUR 116: Nursing Success

NUR 123: Health Assessment

I don't see NUR 123 on the list for Fall 2021.  Do they not need to be taken in order?

I’m honestly not sure how this works.
Once accepted do they put you in a time slot or you get to choose?

Where are you looking? On the nursing page of the college website ( /explore-academics/majors-and-programs/nursing ) they don't list NUR123.

When you're accepted you choose your own classes

123 isn't on the requirements.....ignore other non nursing classes if you have already taken them

You get to choose if it's available

You are right!

I just checked the page.  I must've printed my copy before they updated it.

My copy had the total credits at 71-72 and included NUR 275 Nursing: Past, Present and Future.

Any responses yet?

I hear there were people with a proficient on their total ajusted TEAS scores making it, got any idea what this is about?

On here.

In previous threads, I have not seen people get accepted with a proficient score on the TEAS. A majority of the students that have been accepted in the past have scored advanced or exemplary.

I would imagine we would all get either an acceptance/rejection letter on the same day as everyone else. How do you know some people were already accepted?
