FALL 2021 Nursing program at Suffolk county community college

Nursing program

Published

Hello, I am currently a student at Suffolk county community college preparing to apply for the nursing program for fall 2021 start. I figured I would start this early since the deadline was extended to March 1st 2021. I am preparing to take the TEAS in December most of my prerequisites are finished with a grade of A and one B. If anyone has some great tips on how to score in the 80s and 90s feel free to share. I wish everyone the best of luck.

I would imagine we would all get either an acceptance/rejection letter on the same day as everyone else. How do you know some people were already accepted?

I was referring to threads that were posted from the last 2 years

My comment was referring to Giancarlo’s comment... sorry for the confusion

Ahhhh gotcha... thought you meant you heard of people getting accepted already

Too nervous can’t seem to calm down.

There are people who will get in. Stay positive that you are one of them and manifest it for yourself. Believe you are deserving and good enough. Good luck, I hope you get an acceptance letter ?

The committee is making decisions/sending out letters next week.Hope this helps you guys out.

I think you should give it a shot! When I first applied to the RN program & didn’t get in, they ended up asking me if I wanted to join the LPN program (which I didn’t put on my application) so perhaps they’ll be a bit lenient ?

Sorry for responding a month late, school has been keeping me busy... but I ended up emailing them about it and they were kind enough to update my application ? I’m very grateful, especially because they could’ve just told me no since I only realized 2 weeks after the deadline.

Where did you hear this? And thank you for sharing with us ?

I was told by the admissions office that they’ll be sending admissions decisions by email. So nerve wracking that it’s taking to long haha

Is this for Ammerman and grant? I was told by letter by ammerman and when I previously applied it was by letter (acceptance and denial)  - I applied for fall 2020 but didn’t get in my rubic score at the time wasn’t high enough.

I applied for ammerman and was told by the admissions office the decisions were being sent by email last week when I asked for a status update on the application.

At least emails are quicker than waiting for mail. Sometimes the department and admissions have different responses.
