Nursing program
Published
Hello, I am currently a student at Suffolk county community college preparing to apply for the nursing program for fall 2021 start. I figured I would start this early since the deadline was extended to March 1st 2021. I am preparing to take the TEAS in December most of my prerequisites are finished with a grade of A and one B. If anyone has some great tips on how to score in the 80s and 90s feel free to share. I wish everyone the best of luck.

I remember the nerves waiting for an admission deadline. I'm finishing up my second semester and will be heading into my final year in the Fall!
let me know if you have any questions!!
Thanks for checking in on us!
If you don't mind, I do have a few questions.
How will you continue on to get your BS? Did you apply to the Stony Brook Nursing First program at some point?
Does SCC orient you on how to find employment?
What would you recommend we do over the Summer to help prepare for the program?
Also..I feel funny asking since I haven't been accepted (yet ?) into the program, buttttt....as far as scheduling goes, would you recommend taking classes Mon-Tues-Wed (free Thurs & Fri) or Mon-Wed-Fri (free Tues & Thurs)? Asking because maybe clinicals are really long winded days and you need to recover? or extra time to study?
Thanks again for taking the time to answer our questions!

Are they all automatic decisions? As in we will all receive a decision at the same time?
I hope so. I would think it would be an email with all the information needed going forward like background screening, a deposit to reserve seat.
