Nursing program
Published
Hello, I am currently a student at Suffolk county community college preparing to apply for the nursing program for fall 2021 start. I figured I would start this early since the deadline was extended to March 1st 2021. I am preparing to take the TEAS in December most of my prerequisites are finished with a grade of A and one B. If anyone has some great tips on how to score in the 80s and 90s feel free to share. I wish everyone the best of luck.

When you login to your mysccc account click on check course availability and narrow down to nursing. It shows both campuses. Looks like there’s really just 60-64 seats at ammerman . I’m not sure if they fill the classes till 64 or if they cap the program at 60.

Is there an acronym for the Ammerman campus? For class locations, I saw Riverhead, Sayville and SFCUA (which I think is Grant?) but no Ammerman.
Ammerman will say "A" under "Cmp", Riverhead refers to the Riverhead building on Ammerman campus

I took professor Kenny for A & P.. Amazing! Very organized. For micro I had professor lawrence. Also amazing! Both great professors, very straight up and organized and willing to help everyone! Stats.. If you're a math person should be on the easier side for you. I had Professor Kim, He was organized and followed the textbook well.. I did struggle with the class though. Lastly.. In my opinion The TEAS cannot be done easily. Depending on how you usually do with each subject that should determine how much you study. I definitely recommend studying! It’s not an easy test!
