FALL 2021 Nursing program at Suffolk county community college

Hello, I am currently a student at Suffolk county community college preparing to apply for the nursing program for fall 2021 start. I figured I would start this early since the deadline was extended to March 1st 2021. I am preparing to take the TEAS in December most of my prerequisites are finished with a grade of A and one B. If anyone has some great tips on how to score in the 80s and 90s feel free to share. I wish everyone the best of luck.

I guess apply again next year? Or backup schools... Trying not to think like that yet...

But it is good to speculate because I don’t want to restart for nothing and just have LPN as a back up.

If I don’t get in I plan to retake the TEAS to score higher and have more points toward the rubic score and reapply again for Spring semester. I kept all my TEAS books just in case.

How’d you do on the TEAS? What’s your overall Rubic score? And did you do all your prerequisites?

I'm not too worried personally about not getting in, but if I don't I'll apply for the advanced placement program at Farmingdale

Yeah I took it and scored in the advanced but if I retake it and score higher in the exemplary it’s 5 more points towards rubic.

I scored advanced on the TEAS my rubic is 76.5. I completed all prerequisites.

Hello all, 

I applied to SBU ABSN (rejected) and BSN (probably rejected).

Waiting to hear from SCC (88 TEAS, 84 rubric) and thinking to apply to Farmingdale Accelerated if I don't get in. Not crazy about the commute there though as I'm from Stony Brook.

Anyway good luck and hope to meet you all as nursing students @ SCC! LOL
