FALL 2021 Nursing program at Suffolk county community college

Hello, I am currently a student at Suffolk county community college preparing to apply for the nursing program for fall 2021 start. I figured I would start this early since the deadline was extended to March 1st 2021. I am preparing to take the TEAS in December most of my prerequisites are finished with a grade of A and one B. If anyone has some great tips on how to score in the 80s and 90s feel free to share. I wish everyone the best of luck.

I only applied to ammerman. The decision letters will be mailed to us.

I applied to Ammerman for the Day RN program. I never put a second choice and didn’t realize till I checked just now, so I’m really kicking myself for that because if I don’t get in at Ammerman, I won’t even be considered at Grant since I never put it in as an option. ?‍♀️ Does anyone think if I were to email them and ask if they could possibly send my application over to Grant campus as well that they would, or am I out of luck since the deadline passed already?

Regarding when we’ll find out, like @alphiemucha said, the host at the nursing seminar told us we should hear back by early April and by email. She said there would be no correspondence by mail.

I think you should give it a shot! When I first applied to the RN program & didn’t get in, they ended up asking me if I wanted to join the LPN program (which I didn’t put on my application) so perhaps they’ll be a bit lenient ?

As back up I'm applying to Farmingdale,  but bc I already have a bachelor degree I have to wait till August to apply for their advanced placement program which has a Spring start

I was told The end but I’m hoping for the beginning. Priority registration begins April 5 and I would think people would need to know what classes to take by then - if they get into the program or not.
